Central Park is a huge contrast from the other parts of the city. Trails seem to go forever, and wildlife such as birds and squirrels can be seen. We also saw a group of people learning how to identify weeds (presumably because they are going to be employed as weed-pickers).

We saw this friendly squirrel who was hoping that we would produce some nuts to share. Unfortunately we were "nut less".

Emerging from Central Park I saw a street sign which said Central Park West. This reminded me of a Coltrane song by that name, so I snapped a photo.

Manhattan later in the day was still a sight to behold.

Inside the subway was a blues musician who was singing and strumming away with great intensity. The New York Subway has a great number of musicians who are extremely talented.

All dressed up, we headed off to see the Broadway show "Chicago". It was enjoyable, with excellent music and dance.

After the show we took a few photos.

Manhattan at night is a fun place to explore.

Another night shot of Manhattan.
